...literally at a loss for words on how ridiculous this situation has gotten. We ordered my son his "big boy bed" on 7/4/17 for his 3rd birthday. It was out of stock and wouldn't be in and available for delivery until 7/13, which was fine. I received a text earlier in the week saying my furniture would be delivered between 4p and 8p on 7/13, so I arranged to take off work early to be home in time if they happened to arrive at 4. The driver calls at 6:15p and says he's on his way - awesome! Hour and a half passes... Calls again. His uncle hurt his ankle and has to go to the hospital(?). OK... What now? After being transferred back and forth between customer service and dispatch for over an hour, the verdict is there will be no delivery on 7/13. AND here is where it gets infuriating. I'm told I have to call customer service in the morning to reschedule. (Shouldn't THEY be the ones calling ME? I mean, they're the ones with my payment in full AND my furniture at this point.) So I call, first thing at 8/7 c. I'm informed that my "order is locked" and will be for likely the next 48 hours. No delivery plans can be made. I really got upset when I was told that my (yes, MY, paid in full) furniture is now returned to inventory BC "it has to be accounted for." My stuff was obviously on the truck 9 hours ago. Why not bring it by first thing this morning? This is completely insane!!! I loved the furniture we picked out but it sounds like my best bet is to stop by the store and have my money refunded.
Don't even think about calling to ask a question. You get put on hold until you give up. Called back and was told " let me get a pencil and paper so I can have someone call you. Guess no one had pencil and paper. Had to call back a third time to leave my name and phone number. Definitely not holding my breath for a return phone call.
This place is terrible i purchased a livingroom set it wasn't long before it started falling apart. I also purchase a warranty on it since the sales man said that if anything happened to the furniture they would either fix it or replace it, everytime I would call and let them know that the pleather on my couches were peeling or any other issues i have had, and let me remind u we don't really even use them, as for we are always at work all they would say is that it wasn't covered. I spent too much money on very low quality stuff my warranty was for nothing in other words I gave them close to a couple hundred dollars for nothing. I finally decided to call and say I wanted a refund on a warranty that is completely worthless they said they would refund me half of the amount one month later I get a letter from an attorney saying that I had to settle for 10% of what was charged or I could fight it in court. I don't have the time nor will I spend any more money on something that is worthless and a complete joke. I just want to let the people know so they don't make the same mistake. Lesson learned and I will never buy anything from there again.
Our first sales rep kept forcing us into thing saying it's good for us cause we are young and other things weren't good for us cause we are young so we left to come back for someone else this one was new and left us alone a lot but I was okay with that. We eventually got a really nice deal on a couch...we thought. It was around 2000 on 90 days same as cash. I was good with that. Well something came up and I couldn't finish it in 90 days but I kept paying and of course the price tripled and I understood that although I was mad. Well I continued paying on it but over the phone and eventually the lady tells me I got the price under 2000. I was ecstatic. I felt like I could see the end of the tunnel after a year of payments on this overpriced couch till I asked a few months later what I have left on the couch. They answered back 2048 after I have been making my payments each month. I am never coming back to rooms to go again.
If you need help from a sales rep here, I highly recommend Kim (Jinhee Kim), she was very helpful, and frankly, the only sales rep we saw there that was more interested in helping a customer instead of gossiping amongst each other in the center of the store.
If this is an example of customer service this place has absolutely no idea what it means.
We were just shopping for mattresses, of which they have a great selection for great prices. I couldn't give 5 stars to a store named rooms "to go" that has absolutely no stock available "to go" (our wait time was a week). But considering how the rest of the experience was pleasant, I have to give 4 solid stars.
