My daughter and I have both been his patients for almost 3 years. He is a very smart man. It may take awhile to see him...but learn patients. I have been very pleased to have found a dr who takes time to listen.
This is the worst psychiatrist you can possibly find in midland. They put me on several medications and randomly stopped me cold turkey and prescribed new medication. One medication was an anti psychotic. After choosing not to wean me off I almost commuted suicide. After extensive medical evaluation this was deemed a side effect from the irresponsible decision of Dr Peppermentwala. And the test they do at the beginning to evaluate your allergies and metabolism of medication is NOT covered by your insurance. Medicaid or private. But they lied and said it was. Do not make the same poor decision I did. They don't even get your prescription called in on time 50% of the time (roughly). Leaving you with a 3days to a weeks gap of being off medication. Even after persistently calling and reminding them every day multiple times.
I HAVE A AWESOME EXPERIENCE. I HAVE USED OTHER DOCTORS BUT HAVE NOT HAD THE SAME RESULTS.10 YEARS I HAVE BEEN FIGHTING WITH BIPOLAR DISORDER AND DEPRESSION. HE HAS HELPED ME IN WAYS THAT NO OTHER HAS. I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED HIM IF YOU NEED HELP IN ALL AREAS
I really wanted to make it work being seen at this office, but I just can't handle the stress of wondering how many appointments I'm going to have to cancel for the remainder of the day, and sending apology text after text as I sit in the exam room for over an hour with no update on when I will be seen. I've been there half a dozen times trying to find (with no success) a prescription that works for me and I've never been seen in less than an hour of my appointment time. Never an update, never an apology. Even getting the first or second slot of the morning, there was always "an emergency". Maybe this is standard operation, but I just can't handle cancelling half of my day waiting for no apparent reason.
The office staff is nice. The lady who usually helps me was good and nice. There are a lot of issues with this place and the biggest is COMMUNICATING. The last time I went was a horrible experience. I came to this establishment for help, but peppermintwala made me feel like an addict (by that I medicine abuser) which I'm not may I add. He literally said out loud (and loud) while we were in their little lobby in the back from the main lobby that if I was clean that I could have an anxiety medication. Wow!!! Not only am I offended but I'm done with this place. Tomorrow I have an appointment with a counselor there and it will be the last, but before I leave they will have a piece of my mind. The one good and cool thing about this place is that he does blood,and mouth swab test on you to make sure what medicine you can and cannot take. So make sure you brush your teeth
