I wanted to let people know what happened at tall city vet yesterday 5-9-17. I have been using tall city but their attitude has changed and don't feel comfortable taking my boys there The young lady at counter could not care less about animals she actually said we have enough business to me yesterday one of my guys needed his shots so I called and they said I could walk in so I left work early and took him. When I got there first thing they asked is do you have an appointment of course I said no they seem really put off if you don't have appointment all the years I have been coming no one has told me I must have appointment only actually if you look at their Facebook page they say the are a walk in vet. this lady at counter did not care I left work early and told me they were to busy to see me. I explained my dogs have been coming there since birth and I guess I need to find a new vet that seemed to care cause tall city didn't seem to do that anymore that's when she said well we have enough business. I asked for my records so I could find a new caring vet she made me really angry. This is someone in charge of my boys. I don't think so. This attitude shows in my opinion how little she cares about animals it's more about her ego than anything. Everyone I know that used to use them has now gone somewhere else and I guess it's time for me to follow✌️tall city obviously won't care because they have enough business

I wrote a very poor review a while back, but have since received a phone call, an apology, and an invitation to return.
I won't go back! I've used them forever and I usually take my dogs to another vet for shots. They told me I couldn't get bravecto for my dogs until I brought in my dogs shot records. Well I did, then they told me they couldn't give me bravecto until my dogs were seen by their vet! Even though I had taken them to another vet. So it just seems like they just want money and don't really care about the health or animals
COULD NOT FIND THE NO STAR BUTTON SO THEY GET ONE STAR!!!Our dog went missing for two weeks and finally came home while we were out of town. Someone shot her in her back leg and she was covered in stickers. We had a family member take her up there Monday morning at 11:30am because Tall City is the vet that my family has used for the last 35 years. I called up there at 5:15pm that evening because I had not heard from them. I was told that they had not looked at her because they had several emergencies come in. I finally got to talk to the vet at 5:45pm and he told me that her femur was shattered and would need an orthopedic surgeon and there was nothing they could do for her. I asked if he knew of one and he told me that he would call me back within the next couple of days with a name of a place. It is now Friday evening and I have never received a call from anyone at that office. On top of all of that they charged me $208 and sent her home with some antibiotics and pain meds still full of stickers. We ended up having a family member take her to Mesa Verde on Tuesday morning and dropped her off around 7:30. I received a phone call from the very nice vet at Mesa Verde with in 45 minutes to let me know that they had looked at her and gave us the opinion of both Vets there of the care she needed. As we talked everything over, she told us they'd take care of her completely, bathing her and removing all the stickers. They also gave her her yearly shots and medication needed. The bill there was nearly half the price of Tall City. I also received a phone call from them a few days later just to see how she was doing and to make sure she didn't need anything else. Needless to say I have found a new vet!!
I can not thank Tall City Veterinary Hospital enough for their kindness. The staff and Vet are so compassionate and caring. We rescued our GSP Diezel on Saturday and had him just a few hours before we rushed to the ER Vet and he has pneumonia and also is being tested for canine distemper. Tall City is the only place out of almost 10 places I called who would take him until Thursday when we get the result of the distemper and other testing that was done. I called several times today to check on him and even though they were busy they still helped and were so kind. I spoke with the Vet and she is so amazing! Thank you so much to all the staff! I pray we can get our sweet Diezel on Thursday
