This establishment has all of the notorious Midland hallmarks: limited wait staff, abysmal service, and incredibly long wait times to receive room temperature food.
Food is great and so are the people. The portions when compared to the price, that's another story. For the price I paid, I would have expected more food. I know the building is new and the rent is probably crazy high, but will 25¢ worth of more bulk rice kill the profit margin? I seriously had to order a pizza an hour later.
I tried the brisket puffy tacos, which actually had potential. Unfortunately the shell to meat ratio was laughable and the miniature portion of brisket was nestled onto a warm and soggy bed of iceberg lettuce. Some friends got burgers and fries which looked decent, but also came out room temp and were certainly not worth the over 60 minute wait. There are many places in the area for better burgers and tacos.
Food was great, but don't be in a hurry. Service is VERY slow. Took 45 minutes from time we placed our order to the time it was served. Plus they don't serve the table at one time. They bring out plates as they're done.
He had the baby back ribs and fries. I had the puffy tacos with ground beef and queso. Everything was awesome!! We will be back. They made us feel at home.
