There is so much potential for this place! We've only been on the weekends. I'm not sure if that is the issue. Maybe we need to go for lunch during the week when the normal staff is working.
It's OK... I think Basin Burger House has the potential to be really good, just missed the mark a bit. Service was excellent. The food was inconsistent. My French fries were cold and slightly soggy. I had the steak sauce burger. The onion rings were undercooked, but my burger party was cooked well and the bun was delicious! My husband had the green chili burger and liked it. He ordered onion rings, and there was an additional onion skin layer, which was impossible to eat, and they were also undercooked. We will go back, just hope they fix the cooking issues.
I used to work here long ago. The management was not very good but the food was always so great. Even to this day the food makes up for the service and the long wait. They seem to be understaffed in the front and back of the house all the time. This is effecting the perception of the restaurant. If they somehow fix the issue with workers this is easily one of the best places to eat in Midland.
The wait for food is a little more than we'd like. We are usually itching to get out of there by the time our food comes. I keep wanting and expecting more out of this local spot, but it doesn't preform to my expectations. Always disappointed. :(
Horrible the potatoes were hard and raw the eggs I asked for over medium and the whites were runny the pancakes were over cooked the service sucked she charged us for the potatoes and they came with the meal . We had tea and water and the bill was 40 dollars for the worst food and poor service. You would think for those prices it the food and service would be impeccable. But as usual I guess management just don't care go any where but here, save your money and taste buds they deserve no stars

Food is usually not salted and is over cooked. All their food is handmade in house, but it's not consistent and is usually lacking that something special... usually salt!
