Absolutely terrible, so far 45 min wait for a car, lots of people checked in waiting with me. Only one person behind the counter and I assume one person prepping cars.
Rental went well. Maintenance could be better. The low windshield washer fluid light was on when I first picked up the car.
Lost a customer for life.
Every other competitor has cars available right away, and customers have smiling faces. Not here at Alamo... in fact while waiting I have decided I will never ever rent from Alamo again.
Have good history with Alamo, until this last time when they charged my card three times for the rental, eventually getting it fixed to just the one charge, but ended up not being able to access money I needed to for about 4 days. When I called 4 different numbers, local and corporate, I was repeatedly referred to another department and eventually told they don't really have people who deal with credit card charges.... Talk about frustrating. And really hard to even believe, but needless to say, I will be reconsidering the "value" in a five dollar a day discount compared to other companies with decent customer service when it comes to errors on my card. When everything goes as planned, Alamo is great, but if it doesn't, well you really have nowhere to turn for help. After everything is said and done, as long as you don't mind the authorization holds that unfortunately go hand in hand with credit cards and debit alike, they really do have great cars for great prices ad long as you plan ahead at least a week or so...
Great car easy chk in and out. Great associates at the counter.Alittle far to walk when picking up the car with all your luggage.
