The marshal at Hogan is completely unprofessional. People go there to relax and have a good time; not to be harassed by an old man who clearly doesn't like people or his job. I say this after multiple encounters with him. From a business point of view, course management needs to get rid of him and hire someone else ASAP. He's costing them thousands of dollars each year from people not coming back to play.
Middle school golf tourney nine holes charged full 18 cart fee! Ridiculous!! And don't get off cart path even off to the dirt on opposite side of fairway really ridiculous!!

My main gripe is how poor of shape this course is in. I know they have to be paying the head greens pro a grip of cash and he and his staff are not doing their jobs. Take a look at the public course in Hobbs and use that as an example of how our local public course should look.
Roadrunner course greens are horrible and the clubhouse staff treat you like garbage.
Both courses have excellent layouts. This place is so Poorly managed. The head greens pro should be ashamed of the way the greens look on the Road Runner Course. There are dead spots all over the greens. Hogan Park Golf Course brings in so much money that their profits pay for all the City parks maintenace. Why would you disrespect your cash cow by having poor maintenance at the golf course. The old men that Marshall this place are rude. Everyday their is a Day game that's played for cash and that game takes precedence over any other play. The grill has friendly staff and good food. The pro shop has a few rude people working there but for the most part they are pretty friendly.
Well-below average golf course. Sure, they have 2 courses, but that's all they have going for them. If in the Midland area, best bet for price and quality, is to go to Nueva Vista golf course on the west side of the city. Great staff and facility.
Great course. Pro shop has a huge selection. But the prices are just a little steep. Other than that it's one of the best choices in the midland odessa area.
