Pretty nice hotel... I attempted to check in early but the clerk said they didn't have any rooms clean... I guess she didn't understand the key ingredient in hotel service, hospitality. My friend's husband shows up shortly after us walks in and gets a key upon first request. I was attempting to do laundry in the smallest laundry possible but all the men working in the oil field in Midland were doing their laundry so I sat in the hall close to the laundry from 6pm till 11pm waiting and finally was able to do my clothes. They only have an indoor pool and due to cleaning prior to our arrival it was closed down Sunday and still closed on Monday. They are family friendly and offer a basketball court for guests. There is a very nice seating area outside with a BBQ grill but when her husband went to look at it he was upset it was so trashy and complained, they did send the Porter out immediately. Our rate for Sunday night was only $100 for a nice suite with a kitchen and full size fridge, but we decided we wanted to stay another day and was upcharged to $310. The whole town has over the top housing rates gouging these poor oil workers. We left but forgot a phone. When I called the same clerk told me housekeeping had not made it there and she was ready to dismiss me and again my friend's husband got on the phone and the clerk personally went to look for the phone. It was a nice place but the clerk really soured the stay. The rest of the staff was very friendly but at 300 a night none of their amenities should ever be unavailable. There was A second laundry room but it was also out of order. It's nice for 100 a night but book online for your entire stay or they will definitely get you since so many workers don't actually live there permanently.
The room we used for the event was great. It was spacious, well lit, and was a nice place to be in during the rain outside. They had all the tables and chairs available to us. Great tine here.
Had to come to Midland for work for 3 days. It was Thanksgiving week so my kids were out of school. They came with and loved the pool, breakfast and social hour.
Clean modern rooms. Pool was not very heated but acceptable. Close to stadiums, walking distance from two restaurants, stadium and HEB. Outdoor patio with two grills. Good deal for $100
Very nice hotel. The suites were spacious and well furnished. The hotel had a excellent selection of amenities. The staff were friendly, but checking in took a long time. I would recommend this hotel, especially if you are staying for a long time due to its great proximity to grocery stores and restaurants.
