Got a new bed ordered waiting on it to come in
Greg, the new guy, helped me navigate my way through finding the right bed for me and for my budget. I really appreciated his help as buying a mattress is, at least for me, a frustrating experience. How do you know you are getting the right one? Will you like it a week from now? What happens if you hate it? Why can't someone else buy the damned thing for me and I'll go drink coffee at the Barnes and Noble across the street.
so i was told my bed set would be delivered in 'a week' with my mattresses. i was suppose to get a phone call when the bed set got there since the mattresses were already at the store. So over a week passed and no call. i decided to call and they said they have not received my bed set because it gets there a week or two. i was upset due to the fact of them saying it would be delivered in a week but i didn't mind. another week passed which was 2 weeks after they said it would be delivered.
But quicker than you might believe, I had my new bed bought, found a new pillow and was happy with the price I paid and was over drinking coffee and buying books in less than an hour. Thanks Greg! Way to go Denver Mattress!
oh and also, one of the delivery guys informed me that i was the last person they had to deliver to...when i spoke to the manager who said i would be the 1st or the 2nd person for my bed set to be delivered. they are not true to their words, waste of time with them, i know whoever is reading this probably think i complaint a lot which is false. i hardly complaint about anything...i understand not everything goes as planned and being in customer service since i graduated high school so i understand BUT lying to your customers and being rude is not okay! not okay at all. don't get me wrong, i got 10% off...yes that's nothing but im glad i still got something off.
if i could give them 0 stars that would be great but i have to at least give them one to publish my review.
when i got to my job they called saying they have my mattresses and they will deliver them in 30 mins. so i called my parents to go to my apartment. my parents live on the other side of the city so it took them a while to get to my apartment but while i was at work the delivery guys called me 10 mins after they said it would take them 30 mins...but they called to complained about how cold it is outside. i understand it's cold BUT i informed them that my parents were on their way and it could take a while.
i had to leave work that is money from my paycheck. Four, the delivery guys were smart a**es. Five, they did not want to set up my bed set the way i asked them to because it was "not" going to fit and because they said it was too heavy to move it around (my father and mother actually set it up how i would had like the delivery guys to do it because i was at work) Six, they had to go back to the furniture store to get the mattresses....but before that i called the store to see what happened with my mattresses and whoever answered said he would called me in 10-15 mins. just a reminder i had to leave work to come take care of this. 30 mins passed by so i called again and the same guy answered. He said he is on his way to make sure the mattresses were in the back.........when he clearly said he would call me 10-15 mins later back. since they took a while to call back i left back to work.
Asked 3times about a bed and got two different prices. One said we could pick up bed that day but turns out bed would have to be ordered... thank God we didn't get rid of our bed.
do not buy furniture from them unless you like to struggle.
i called back since i wasn't getting any calls about my bed set....they said they been having it......okay. One, they were suppose to call me once they received the items. Two, whoever answer the phone was rude so no customer service. Three, my items which were again in the back for a while could not be delivered the next day from when i called. BUT the day they were delivered was suppose to be between 11am-1pm but were actually delivered at 8pm...
This is my second experience buying a mattress, or rather an entire bed--Mattress, box springs (the new word is foundation!) and the frame, at this location. Once again, the professionals at Denver Mattress made it easy.
