I've about given up on the "support your local bike shop" idea, at least in Midland, but so far Jeff and Stephanie have done me right. They sorted out a disc brake issue for me in one day last weekend, and then this weekend I brought in a new bike ordered online with an out of whack dropout problem, at 5:25 on a Friday nonetheless! Not only did they give me no grief that I didn't buy it from them, they were almost as stoked as I was about the bike and Jeff fixed the issue then and there, even though it was closing time, and I got to ride the new bike this Saturday and Sunday! So yeah, I'm back to supporting the other local bike shop.

A destination-type bike shop in Midland! Finally a shop that caters to the enthusiast, but doesn't leave out the family. The staff is friendly and laid back. Excellent service and selection in a small shop. And to help keep your chill, they have complimentary adult beverages while you make your selection. I've seen this sort of quality before, but in bike destinations like Durango or Moab. So nice to have this nearby.
