I personally LOVE this place, I moved from San Antonio,TX to Midland,TX about a year ago and I went to several other nail salons and I literally walked in & out of every place except this place, Immediately I felt comfortable & relaxed. Like many nail salons the majority of the staff spoke moderately well English ( not a racist comment , just stating a fact that I have observed in my own personal experiences at many nail salons) Of course since don't speak the language I wouldn't know if anyone said bad things about me, but regardless what they may be saying , they are always very helpful and friendly here. I have had several different people do my nails here and they all do an amazing job , they always give me better then I expected and at a very reasonable price. The atmosphere here is also so soothing , they offer free beverages and with their flat screen TV's , you can be sure that the time will go by quickly even if you don't strike up a conversation with the staff, So far 4 out of 5 have always been very sweet (male & female) and listen to you and make you feel like your just hanging out with an old friend. As for the sanitary conditions, I have to disagree with the previous comment. In my year & a half of coming here I have NEVER seen anything that would strike me as Unhealthy or Unsanitary. I am a very health conscience person, borderline clean freak at times so I would be the first to notice something like that. I always see the staff washing their hands and the floor, tables & chairs if anything are shiny & spotless, I am not there everyday but I am there at least once a month & the only time they had the spill sign up was when a customer knocked over a bowl with water and they put the cleaning sign up so no one wold fall. Overall this place is the 5 star of nail salons to me, I am very picky and this is the only place I trust with my nails & toes, I wont even go to another nail salon when I am out of town because I don't think anyone else can do the job like they can here. My nails always look perfect and last longer then an other place I have been to.From someone who knows nails, trust me If your ever in Midland , This is the place to go :)
I wish I could give this a rating of NEGATIVE five stars. This place is awful. The people are RUDE and I witnessed with my own eyes how very unsanitary they are. I was so disgusted, I considered calling the health department on them. The thing that bothered me the most was the fact that they tried to cover up their unsanitary conditions by blocking the whole area off with " wet floor" signs, and when I saw it, they ushered me out of there so no one else was made aware of it. Don't let the nice little waterfall in the front fool you, this place is dirty and unprofessional.
I have been here several times. I had a pedicure today and she talked on her phone and rushed through my pedi. I didn't even realize she did the hot rocks (or did she) because I was relaxing with my eyes closed. Anyways, the lady beside me had the same package and was services for at least 30 minutes longer then I was. I will never return. Bummer for them because I'm a good tipper.
Have been going here three years and have never had a problem. Excellent customer service. They take their time doing your mani & pedis! Love this place! Definitely recommend it
